Travel isn’t always perfect, being type B doesn’t really help either but that’s exactly what makes it exciting. In the moment it is hard to appreciate the chaos. But those unexpected hurdles become the best stories later. I love the feeling of not knowing what each day will bring: from the ones that go completely sideways to the ones that exceed my wildest expectations.

My second 42Forward marathon had me running a marathon in Peru. From thin air to crazy drivers, the obstacles I had to deal with were all worth it to support a local dog shelter I had volunteered at. This was making an impact at altitude.
